Turkish President Erdogan has called on Muslim countries to unite against Israel's “expansionist” policies, Reuters reported, citing his position on the matter.
Over the weekend, Erdogan said Islamic states must unite to combat the “growing threat of expansionism” from Israel.
The Turkish leader made the statement after Palestinian and Turkish officials reported the death of a Turkish-American woman during a protest in the occupied West Bank. They said the woman was killed by Israeli forces during a demonstration against Israeli settlement expansion in the territory.
