Israeli President Isaac Herzog has condemned the action of radical Jewish settlers in the Palestinian village of Jat. He called their actions unacceptable and said that it does not correspond to the values of the Torah and Judaism. According to him, such incidents harm law-abiding residents of the settlements and Israel's reputation in the international arena.
About 50 settlers entered the village, attacked local residents, and set fire to cars and houses. Security forces arrived to disperse the troublemakers. This happened at a sensitive time for the region, when international attention is focused on the conflict between Israel and the Palestinians.
Isaac Herzog stressed the importance of maintaining peace and stability in the region, condemning any manifestations of violence and extremism. The President called for dialogue and a peaceful resolution of the conflict, emphasizing that only through dialogue and mutual understanding can long-term peace and stability be achieved.
