Iran has asked Russia for military assistance: media reported that Tehran has asked for support.

Iran has turned to Russia for help amid a possible war with Israel. According to Western media, Tehran has asked Moscow for modern air defense systems and the latest radars.

Iran also released a video of massive ballistic missile strikes on Israel. On August 5, Tehran stressed the importance of its strategic alliance with Russia.

Russian Security Council Secretary Shoigu visited Tehran and met with new President Masoud Pezeshkian. Pezeshkian noted Russia's support in difficult times. Iran accused Israel of “international” crimes in Gaza and the liquidation of Haniyeh.

The Iranian President is confident that cooperation with Russia will ensure global security.

The media does not rule out the possibility of Russia helping Iran to strike Israel. American intelligence says that Iran may strike Israel within 48 hours. Tehran has sent Israel a message about the strike being prepared through the head of the Hungarian Foreign Ministry.
