In response to the overnight airstrike in southern Lebanon, Hezbollah militants fired 55 rockets at northern Israel. One of them hit Kibbutz Ayelet HaShahar in the Galilee, where two IDF soldiers were injured to varying degrees and taken to Rambam Hospital in Haifa. The rocket attacks sparked more than 10 fires in open and agricultural areas in the Galilee.

In response to the attack from Lebanon, the IDF launched a series of strikes, killing the commander of the elite Radwan unit east of Tyre. Residents of some communities have been advised to avoid crowds, limit movement and stay near shelters amid heightened tensions. In Lebanon, a Hezbollah leader was reported killed in an Israeli drone strike on a motorcyclist.
