The IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported that on the night of August 28, 2024, the IDF Air Force struck a target in the area of the town of Rasm al-Hadat in the northern Bekaa Valley. According to Al-Mayadeen TV, the target of the strike was a convoy of trucks, presumably transporting weapons.
The strike was likely carried out by a drone, as the target was more than a hundred kilometers from the Israeli border. The channel also linked the IDF action to Hezbollah, which confirms that the strike was aimed at weapons-related facilities.
However, the IDF Spokesperson's Office did not provide an official comment on the operation or specific details of the strike. According to the channel's sources, the strike was an important mission to prevent the transfer of weapons to radical groups in Lebanon.
