Former hostage Farhan al-Qadi recounted his experience of captivity in Gaza, where he spent about 11 months.

He mentioned the death of one of the hostages with whom he had been with for about two months, but did not name him. A Bedouin from the village of Raat, according to the Ynet portal, also became a victim of captivity, losing up to 10 kg in weight and fearing loss of vision due to the dark conditions.

Al-Qadi described the hostages' life underground as total isolation from the outside world. They had no idea what was happening in Israel and virtually no sunlight.

The experience left them facing physical and psychological hardships. After his release, al-Qadi shared his story with the public, drawing attention to the issue of captivity and its consequences.
