The IDF has revealed new details about the attempted terrorist attack in Binyamin.

A terrorist attack occurred in the Binyamin district when a Palestinian driver targeted a police car at a gas station. The car, with Palestinian license plates, collided with the patrol car, but no police officers were injured and the terrorist was detained. The IDF handed him over to law enforcement for further investigation.

It was also revealed that the key figure in another incident in which three Israeli policemen were killed was Muhannad Muhammad Al-Asoud from the city of Idna. Security forces foiled a planned terrorist attack by detaining armed terrorists on the road between Einav and Shavei Shomron who were targeting the attack.

Thanks to the joint efforts of the Shin Bet and the IDF, a major terrorist attack was prevented. The terrorists, armed with machine guns, were arrested and IDF forces were deployed to the scene. A separate incident of an Israeli being attacked with a hammer in the Uri Braun industrial zone in Samaria caused a wave of concern in the region.
