Environmental activist Greta Thunberg expressed the opinion that the fight for climate justice is not possible without overcoming “colonialism” and the interference of large corporations in environmental destruction. She sharply accused the energy company Chevron of links to “Israel's genocide in Palestine,” calling for a boycott of the company for the sake of climate justice.

In light of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Thunberg expresses anti-Israel views, taking part in anti-Israeli demonstrations and actions with supporters of the Hamas terrorists. Her outspoken support for organizations and remarks sparked accusations of anti-Semitism and repeated scandals, forcing her to subsequently backtrack and apologize for her remarks.
