Israel received information about the whereabouts of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah on the day of his elimination from an Iranian agent who secretly worked in this organization, reports the French publication Le Parisien.
On the day of the liquidation, a funeral was held near Nasrallah's bunker for another Hezbollah fighter who had recently been killed. Immediately after the funeral, Nasrallah, Iranian General Nilforoushan and 12 other senior commanders of the group gathered. Israeli intelligence, alerted by its agent, closely monitored them, and F-35 aircraft were ready to carry out the order to eliminate them at any moment.
When the entire Hezbollah high command gathered at headquarters, Israeli planes dropped six bombs of two tons each. As a result, a deep crater with a diameter of 30 meters was formed, filled with debris from the group’s destroyed bunker.
