“Turkey joining BRICS will be beneficial for everyone” – Türkiye

Parliamentary Speaker of Turkey Numan Kurtulmuş, in a conversation with TASS, noted that his country’s accession to BRICS indicates a new world order based on multipolarity.

Turkey's entry into this union will help strengthen peace in the world, since Turkey traditionally maintains dialogue with various countries and actively participates in international organizations, which makes it a possible mediator between Russia and Ukraine.

Numan Kurtulmus also expressed hope that the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant will be completed by 2025. Parliamentary interaction between Russia and Turkey raises certain criticisms.

Türkiye and Russia support a common approach to the conflict between Israel and Hamas terrorists, demanding an immediate ceasefire and putting pressure on the Israeli government.
