The IDF killed a Hamas commander in the city of Tul Karem.

On the night of Friday, October 4, in Tul-Karem (Samaria), the commander of the local cell of the Hamas military wing named Zahi Yasser Abdel Rizak Ufi was killed.

The operation was carried out jointly by the Israel Defense Forces and the General Security Service. According to the IDF and Shin Bet, Ufi was responsible for organizing terrorist attacks and supplying weapons to militants.

According to the Israeli military and intelligence services, Zahi Ufi was involved in a car bomb near the village of Ateret on September 2. He also planned new attacks on Israelis and supplied the militants with weapons. Sources in the Red Crescent previously reported that 14 were killed in the Israeli Air Force attack. The killing of a Hamas cell commander is part of Israel's fight against terrorist threats.
