The IDF press service in Arabic called on residents of the city of Baalbek in Lebanon to leave their homes due to the presence of Hezbollah headquarters and facilities. The city is known as a habitat for Shiite militants and is located just 150 km from the Israeli border. The IDF demanded the evacuation of 80,000 people, warning of a grave danger to residents and their loved ones within a radius of up to 500 meters from the terrorist organization's facilities.
An IDF representative also personally called the head of Baalbek's civil defense, demanding immediate evacuation. The IDF message emphasized the need for quick and urgent evacuation due to Hezbollah's installations in residential buildings. The organization is conducting hostile activities against Israel, which poses a danger to civilians in the area.
The IDF insists on the evacuation of all residents in areas adjacent to the terrorist organization's facilities. This was done to ensure the safety of citizens and prevent possible consequences in the event of a conflict with Hezbollah.
