Researchers believe that perhaps one of Jesus' miracles from the Bible was actually real. Scientists have discovered that the miracle described in the Bible in which Jesus helped fishermen catch enough fish to last a long time could be linked to a natural phenomenon that occurs at certain times of the year.

The study was carried out by scientists from the Kinneret Limnological Laboratory in Israel. They found that low oxygen levels near the lake bottom are associated with phytoplankton blooms, which can suffocate fish. A similar phenomenon was observed in the lake in 2012, when thousands of dead fish floated to the surface.

Experiments and observations showed that under certain conditions, fishermen could actually pull a large number of fish out of the lake, since due to strong winds, the aeration of the water was reduced, which affected the oxygen content.

Researchers claim that Lake Kinneret has distinct layers, where the upper layer is saturated with oxygen, and the lower one is deprived of it due to temperature differences. It is also noted that intense phytoplankton blooms lead to rare cases of fish seas in the lake.

Scientists' discovery of such natural phenomena means that the miracles described in the Bible could be associated with natural processes occurring on Lake Kinneret.
