Three machine guns were stolen from IDF soldiers in Lebanon

Last week, three Mag-type machine guns were stolen from IDF infantry units on the Lebanese border while the soldiers were outside their military vehicles.

The stolen weapons were discovered in a Bedouin village in Western Galilee and an investigation has begun.

The incident is reminiscent of a theft that occurred a year ago in the same area, when three residents were detained for stealing rockets and ammunition from IDF units on the Lebanese border. The army has launched an investigation and will transfer the materials to the military prosecutor's office.
