On Monday, a meeting of the Knesset plenum was held to discuss the issue of hostages and their release. Those present listened to a speech by Benjamin Natniyahu, who emphasized the importance of continuing military operations in the Gaza Strip and appealed to unity and victory: “Together we will win.” In response, opposition members began to shout, accusing the prime minister of betraying the fighters.

At the guest stand, where the relatives of the hostages were, shouts broke out in their own defense. The Knesset Speaker ordered the guest podium cleared, sparking a scuffle among lawmakers seeking to support the abducted's loved ones. One relative collapsed from a long hunger strike, symbolizing his desperate demand for release.
