A group of criminals forged IDF fuel cards and stole tens of millions of shekels worth of fuel. Due to the weak security of identification cards, criminal elements were able to refuel their cars for free at the expense of the Ministry of Defense. One of the suspects has already been detained, and the military prosecutor's office is preparing to charge him.

During the war, due to the mobilization of additional vehicles not equipped with the necessary RFID devices, the IDF issued “fuel cards” to the military. The fuel theft suspects are associated with the south of the country and gas station operators. To prevent such cases, it was decided to block cards and develop a special application for monitoring refueling and fuel consumption.

An officer was assigned to participate in the investigation of the incident, and the IDF began conducting an investigation.
