The Assad regime, which brutally oppressed and murdered hundreds of thousands of innocent Syrians, has finally fallen. The President emphasized that this significant event gives Syrians a chance to create a safe and prosperous society.

Biden also promised that the United States will work with various countries to reduce the risks associated with Syria. In particular, support was announced for Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon, as well as consultations with their leadership to ensure security in the region.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga said that Ukraine is ready to cooperate with Syria in the future and make efforts to stabilize the region. He noted that Assad's decline is the result of his decision to trust Putin, who always betrays his allies and supports violence in the region.
