2 special “combat” Chanukiahs were lit today in 2 countries: and Israel and Ukraine have the same enemies

Both Hanukkiahs are made from the debris of missiles and drones that terrorists used to attack Israel and Ukraine.

One is in Ukrainemade from the debris of Russian and Iranian missiles and drones.

The other is in Israelmade from fragments of missiles and drones of Hezbollah terrorists (friends, allies and satellites of Russia and Iran).

Two countries, one enemy: Israel and Ukraine lit Hanukkiahs from rocket debris to commemorate the victory of light over darkness and perseverance in the face of terror.

Israeli Foreign Ministry : “This unusual Hanukkah lamp was made by Israeli police officers – it is made from the fragments of rockets that Hezbollah terrorists launched at Israel — rockets that killed and wounded Israeli civilians. Now the fire of our victory will burn on them.”

Yigal Levin: “Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov lights the first Hanukkah candle today at the recently specially created Main Intelligence Directorate Hanukkiah. The solemn ceremony of lighting the first candle will take place at the Kiev Jewish Community Center with the participation of the Chief Rabbi of Kyiv Jonathan Markovich.

This Hanukkiah is made from the debris of missiles and drones that hit Ukraine (including a Jewish school in Kyiv)but were shot down. It is a symbol of turning darkness into light, destruction into life, and pain into art. Hanukkah is a holiday of light, a symbol of the victory of good over evil and freedom over oppression.

The Jewish community once again reminds the whole world that brave Ukrainians are the side of good and the people of light.”
