There has also been a decline in average wages in the high-tech sector. It decreased by 1%, falling from NIS 31,200 in September to NIS 30,900 in October. The total number of jobs in the Israeli economy continues to remain below the 4 million mark.
The number of jobs in the technology sector has also declined. The sector's share of the labor market remains unchanged at 10.1%. An increase in average wages above the inflation rate is considered positive, especially in the field of information and communications.
