“Russian missile on an ordinary city. Right on the street. On an area with residential buildings. Preliminary, this is a ballistic strike. Currently, 14 dead are known, including 6 children,” said the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in the evening of April 4, 2024.
He also published footage showing the aftermath of the attack.
“Rescue operation is ongoing. At least five houses have been damaged,” he added.
Near the site of the enemy missile strike, there was a children’s playground where children were playing carefree.
The number of injured is being clarified – over 50.
According to Zelensky, “Russia does not want a ceasefire and we see this,” “the whole world sees this.”

Russian military forces have not commented on the attack on Kryvyi Rih.

Russian forces attacked Kryvyi Rih again, delivering a massive strike on residential neighborhoods.
As of 8:00 PM, it is known that 14 people have died as a result of the ballistic strike, including 6 children.
It is known that fires broke out in the city as a result of the strike. High-rise buildings have been damaged. Cars and garages are also burning.
Near the impact site, there was a children’s playground.
According to the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation, it is preliminarily reported that the city was struck by an “Iskander” missile with a cluster warhead.
“This is a deliberate strike to kill a large number of people,” said Andriy Kovalenko.

Every missile, every strike drone proves that Russia only wants war. And only from the pressure of the world on Russia, from all efforts to strengthen Ukraine, our air defense, our forces — only from this, it depends when the war will end.
America, Europe, and everyone else in the world have enough capacity to force Russia to abandon terror and war. And this needs to be ensured: peace is needed.”
