The Israeli Foreign Ministry condemned Russia’s missile strike on Kyiv, expressing support for Ukraine.

The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs responded to the Russian missile strikes that occurred in Kyiv on August 28, 2025. In a publication by the department on the social network “X,” condolences are expressed to the families who lost loved ones as a result of the night strike.

The foreign ministry expressed its thoughts to everyone affected by the attack. It is noted that damage was inflicted not only on residential areas but also on diplomatic institutions of the European Union and the British Council.

Let us recall that as a result of the events that took place on August 28 in Kyiv, the death toll rose to 21 people, and search and rescue operations continue. In addition, on August 29, a Day of Mourning was declared in Kharkiv and Sumy in honor of the deceased, among whom are both adults and children.
