In his opinion, the Shanghai Cooperation Organization offered “a new approach to international relations focused on pluralism.” In this regard, he noted the necessity of “deepening economic cooperation, mentioning the predominance of this model over Eurocentric and Euro-Atlantic systems.”

Xi also called on the bloc’s countries to intensify joint efforts in the fields of energy, infrastructure, science, and technology, including the development of artificial intelligence.

Putin repeatedly raised the topic of a new world order, and at the opening of the summit, he was captured alongside Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, exchanging warm gestures.
