Trump stated that he will settle the war in Ukraine as the “ninth in line.”

US President Donald Trump once again stated his achievements in resolving international conflicts, emphasizing that he has ended eight wars and intends to make the ninth — between Russia and Ukraine — his next victory.

“I have resolved eight wars, and the ninth is approaching. I believe it will happen in the war between Russia and Ukraine,” Trump noted,

adding that peace agreements save millions of lives and strengthen the international reputation of the United States.

Eight Conflicts Under Trump’s Leadership

Trump has repeatedly emphasized his successes in ending military conflicts, claiming that his achievements surpass even historical figures such as George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.

Among the conflicts he claims to have resolved are the confrontations between Israel and Iran, Pakistan and India, Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Thailand and Cambodia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, Egypt and Ethiopia, as well as Serbia and Kosovo.

Special attention is given to the conflict between Hamas and Israel, which Trump claims was also resolved. However, despite the announced ceasefire, on October 19, the parties exchanged strikes again, leaving the question of peace open.

Prospects for Resolution in Eastern Europe

Trump expressed a desire to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine but acknowledged the complexity of the task due to personal animosity between Volodymyr Zelensky and Vladimir Putin.

Bloomberg reports that Ukraine, together with European allies, is developing a 12-point plan to end the conflict. This plan could become the basis for future negotiations.
