In the Odessa region on October 29, 2025, Russia attacked energy infrastructure facilities, leaving some residents without power. This incident was commented on by the head of the regional administration, Oleg Kiper.

Extent of Damage

The energy company DTEK confirmed the fact of a strike on a facility in the Odessa region. According to their data, more than 30,000 homes were affected by the attack. Energy workers have already partially restored electricity supply, but 26,900 homes remain without power.

Casualties Among the Population

Oleg Kiper also reported injuries resulting from the strike — one person was injured. In addition, the Russian attack affected transport infrastructure facilities, further complicating the situation.

Data on Drones

The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia launched 126 drones, approximately 80 of which were produced in Iran. Air defense crews shot down 93 drones, but the consequences of the attacks were significant: hits by 32 devices were recorded in 10 different locations.
