Achieving a truce in Gaza may be more difficult than in Lebanon, Biden says.

US President Joe Biden said at a car wash in Berlin on Friday that it would be easier to achieve a ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah than between Israel and Hamas.

He met with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer.

He noted that “leaders believe that it is possible to achieve a ceasefire in Lebanon, but in Gaza it will be more difficult.”
