Arab media reports that Hezbollah has moved “from supporting Gaza to long-term confrontation with Israel”

A Hezbollah military source has reported a change in strategy for the organization, which has now “moved from supporting Gaza to a long-term confrontation with Israel.” Israel has already launched a new phase of military operations in the north, the goal of which is to eliminate Hezbollah. However, the complete destruction of the organization is considered unrealistic due to the potential catastrophic consequences for the Israeli army in any ground operation in Lebanon.

The source also noted that the creation of a buffer zone on the border with Lebanon will not eliminate the threat from Hezbollah, as it is based on illusions. The organization had a clear idea of ​​the possible scenarios and did not make a spontaneous decision to intervene in Gaza.

Hezbollah's leadership understood that the new Israeli leadership posed a real threat to the organization.

A month ago, Hezbollah released a video threatening Israel, showing footage from its tunnels. The video contains threatening messages from the organization's secretary general and shows that Hezbollah is ready to confront Israel.
