Participants in the first European Union-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit expressed their support for Ukraine, advocating for its sovereignty, independence, unity and territorial integrity within recognized international borders, including territorial waters.

This statement was welcomed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Summit participants condemned Russian attacks on Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure, calling for humanitarian assistance and support for its energy infrastructure, including the provision of equipment and support for IAEA activities to ensure the safety of nuclear power plants.
