Elon Musk has offered Israel a service that cannot be overestimated.

The Minister of Communications announced the arrival of the Starlink satellite communications systems in Israel and plans to install them in government offices, hospitals and emergency centers. He noted that this is just the beginning and further steps will be officially announced. The Starlink satellite network provides high-speed internet via SpaceX satellites, making communications available in remote and inaccessible places.

Elon Musk used Starlink to maintain communications in Gaza for aid agencies following the conflict with Hamas last year. Musk and Israel initially had tense relations over concerns about the technology being used for terrorist purposes. However, an agreement was eventually reached to control Starlink use in the territory.

In February, government approval was announced for Starlink to be used at a hospital in Rafah and in Israel. This will enable video conferencing, diagnostics, and real-time communications, improving the quality of healthcare.
