FBI Director voiced threats facing the US.

The United States faces heightened threats from many directions, while law enforcement agencies are under serious strain, FBI Director Christopher Wray told The Associated Press.

He reported that never in his career had he encountered such a large number of threats escalating at the same time.

The FBI director expressed his concerns to the AP during a visit to his Minneapolis office to discuss partnerships between law enforcement and other agencies. He emphasized that concerns are especially high about terrorism, both domestic and international, as well as Chinese espionage, intellectual property theft and foreign interference in elections.

Ray added that the only way to overcome these challenges is through collaboration. “That’s how we get through this. We work together,” Ray said.
