Hamas and Fatah reach agreement on governance of Gaza Strip

Hamas and Fatah have reached an agreement to create a committee to govern the Gaza Strip after the end of the war. The proposed plan, which would have to be approved by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, includes 10-15 independent members.

A Hamas spokesman noted that the group has reached agreement with Fatah on general terms, but continues negotiations on some points.
