Mossad agents planned to kill Ismail Haniyeh while he was attending the funeral of former Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi. The explosion occurred in the Hamas leader's room in Tehran. The Telegraph reported that Mossad asked for help from Iranian agents to eliminate Haniyeh.
