Hamas posted a video of Lira Elbag, a 19-year-old hostage.

On January 4, Hamas published a video of 19-year-old hostage Liri Elbag. This is the first sign that she is alive in several months. The video is three and a half minutes long and is undated. But in it, the girl says that she has been in captivity for more than 450 days, which may indicate that the filming took place recently.

On October 7, 2023, Liri Elbag, an IDF observer, was kidnapped along with six other conscripts from the Nahal Oz outpost.

One of them, Ori Megidish, was rescued as a result of a military operation in the Gaza Strip. Another girl was killed by terrorists. The remaining five – Liri Elbag, Karina Ariev, Agam Berger, Naama Levi and Daniela Gilboa – remain captured by the militants.
