Hezbollah drone flew to a residential building in Nahariya

On November 16, 2024, warnings about drone infiltration were recorded in Nahariya and neighboring communities, as well as about a missile threat at Rosh Hanikra. As a result, two drones launched from Lebanon were shot down. Fragments of an interceptor missile led to a fire on Akhziv beach and damage to a residential building in Nahariya.

The IDF Logistics Service confirmed the end of the incident. There were no deaths or injuries, but there was material damage and panic among residents. Terrorists are using drones to attack Israel, posing serious threats to the country's security.

Hezbollah, especially Unit 127, is actively developing its UAV capabilities. Major General Tomer Bar personally visited the training base after the missile attack to assess the situation. Hezbollah's increased air capabilities make it harder to detect and intercept threats, leaving Israel more vulnerable.
