Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon use the tactic of hiding in civilian areas, similar to Hamas. Thus, several hospitals were closed due to Israeli Air Force strikes. The large Santa Teresa hospital in southern Beirut also ceased operations.
Over the past 4 days of hostilities in Southern Lebanon, more than 250 Hezbollah militants have been killed, including 20 field commanders. About 2,000 of the organization's infrastructure facilities were also hit, including warehouses, missile launchers and command posts.
