However, Hezbollah has begun recruiting new fighters, has resumed weapons production in Lebanon and is using smuggling through Syria to replenish its supplies.

According to US intelligence, Israel continues to strike Hezbollah targets to prevent its restoration. However, the exact effect of these actions is still unknown, and a violation of the truce between the parties cannot be ruled out. The Israeli strikes are also aimed at weakening Hezbollah's logistics capabilities in Syria, an important hub for arms smuggling.
