Adi emphasized that every day in captivity is a source of unbearable suffering for his son and other hostages, and therefore considers it urgent to demand action from presidents and prime ministers. He called on Biden and Trump to show courage, cooperation and decisive action to address this critical situation.

The hostage’s father expressed hope that Biden and Trump will begin active negotiations for release, because the United States has the necessary tools and influence. There were also hopes that Trump could begin to exert influence immediately, without waiting for his next inauguration.
