IDF conducts operation in Tul Karem

On the evening of November 13, information appeared in Palestinian sources about an IDF operation in Tul-Karem, accompanied by a clash with militants. Fatah militants reported fighting with “Israeli special forces” who entered the city and clashed with them. It is reported that Fatah militants are firing at Israeli forces with automatic weapons and machine guns.

According to the Kan news service, as of 19:00 local time, there were no wounded among the Israeli military personnel. However, a security source said at least three militants were wounded, including a senior member of a terrorist cell in the city. The situation remains tense, weapons are being used on both sides and fighting is actively underway.

IDF and Palestinian militia officials had not commented on the matter as of last update. Carrying out such operations in the Tul-Karem area is associated with the tense situation in the region and has a negative impact on the general situation in the area.
