In Jerusalem, a terrorist attack at a bus stop: there are victims and many injured

Four people were killed and seven injured in a terrorist attack on a bus at the Ramot intersection in Jerusalem.

Another person injured in the attack died at Hadassah Mount Scopus Hospital. The total number of those killed has increased to six.

On September 8, 2025, an attack occurred in Jerusalem: two unknown individuals opened fire at a bus stop. According to MDA, those killed in the attack were a 50-year-old man and three 30-year-old men. Seven injured were taken to Shaare Zedek Hospital, including one in critical condition, four in serious condition, and two in moderate condition. According to the latest data, the total number of injured is 11.

Details of the Incident

Among the dead were a man approximately 50 years old and three men around 30 years old. Additionally, five victims with serious gunshot wounds were taken to the hospital, with a total of 15 injured registered.

The attackers arrived by car at the Ramot intersection and began shooting towards the stop. The situation became extremely tense.

A “Carlo” submachine gun, an imitation of the Swedish “Carl Gustav” submachine gun, was found at the scene. Such weapons are produced in the Palestinian territories.

Channel “Arutz Sheva” reports that the terrorists came to Jerusalem from a village in the Ramallah area. All checkpoints at the entrance to the capital from the PA side are blocked.

Responding to the attack, a security service officer and a civilian opened return fire, neutralizing the attackers. This moment was decisive during the attack, preventing further casualties.
