Major General Gershon HaCohen expressed concern about the current security situation in Judea and Samaria following the deadly attack that left three Israelis dead. He emphasized the need for urgent measures to normalize the situation. HaCohen also noted the abundance of weapons in the region, including explosives from Jordan under Iranian control and the emergence of terrorist threats in central Israel.

He expressed dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Netanyahu's response to the attacks, saying it was important not just to catch the killers, but to fight the terrorist system. Criticizing the Palestinian Authority, HaCohen noted that compliance with the Oslo Accords is impossible due to the large number of weapons in the territory, and refugee camps should be destroyed to prevent terrorist attacks.
