The terrorist group Hezbollah continues to fire massive rockets at Israel. The rockets were aimed at various areas such as Karmiel, the Golan Heights and the Upper Galilee. The Iron Dome air defense system was able to shoot down most of the missiles, preventing possible threats to residential areas.
The IDF press service reported the fall of fragments of missiles shot down by the air defense system. As a result of the shelling of the Druze settlement of Maj del Shams in the Golan, five local residents were seriously wounded by shrapnel, they were provided with medical assistance and were evacuated to hospitals. During the day, terrorists fired dozens of rockets and mortar shells.
The IDF press office also stated that the Home Front Service's instructions to residents of the North remain unchanged due to the current situation. The situation remains tense and authorities continue to take measures to ensure the safety of citizens.
