Iran blames Azerbaijan for supporting the Israeli attack.

According to Iranian media, information has appeared that “Azerbaijan has transferred the Sital-Chai airfield to the complete disposal of Israel. The distance from the airfield to the Iranian border is only 170 kilometers.”

This information was published by the Khabar Fury telegram channel after the Israeli strike on Iran. The telegram channel itself has about two million subscribers.

A summer Irdiplomacy article claimed that the distance from the airfield to the Iranian border is 500 kilometers. However, the article called the airfield dangerous for Iran because they claimed the Israeli military was using it freely.

After the attack on Iran on October 26, Iranian propaganda began to attack Azerbaijan. Almost 3,000 comments appeared under the “Khabar Fury” post, where some demanded to punish Azerbaijan and expressed insults against Ilham Aliyev.
