The Iranian regime plans to file a lawsuit in international courts over the assassination of the Hamas leader. Following the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, a criminal case was opened in Tehran and is already being thoroughly investigated. Jahangir called the assassination of the head of the terrorist group “an egregious example of state terrorism” and announced his intention to appeal to international courts.

Iran's international efforts led to the UN Security Council meeting, but it failed to condemn Israel for the terrorist's murder. Jahangir expressed doubts about Iran's trust in the UN Security Council on this issue. However, the Iranian regime's Justice Ministry and Foreign Ministry intend to seek justice in international courts.
