The Israeli military is currently on “high alert” for a possible attack from Iran or Hezbollah in Lebanon. IDF Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari stresses that there has been no change in instructions for civilians, despite speculation that an Iranian attack on Israel is imminent.
Hagari noted that the military is prepared to defend and counterattack and is closely monitoring Hezbollah and Iranian activities. The Israeli Air Force has stepped up patrols over Lebanon to identify and prevent threats.
“We are paying close attention to our adversaries’ statements and are at a high level of readiness,” Hagari said. The Command’s instructions have not changed but will be updated as needed.
Hagari stresses that the information will be shared with the public in a timely manner to avoid giving enemies an advantage for intelligence or operational purposes. New Israeli intelligence indicates the possibility of an Iranian attack on Israel in the coming days.
