The Israeli government plans to reduce the amount of humanitarian aid to residents of the Gaza Strip after Donald Trump takes office as US President. Israel has no intention of continuing previous levels of aid, according to an anonymous government source.

According to ITV Channel 12, Israel is seeking to put pressure on Hamas, the militant group that takes up most of the humanitarian aid for its needs. Meanwhile, most of Gaza's population is in need of food. The decision on the amount of humanitarian aid must now be made by Israel, sources from the new Trump administration said.
