More than a month and a half without a lottery winner has resulted in the accumulation of the maximum jackpot allowed by law.
For the draw, scheduled for Tuesday, December 24, 2024, the top prize will reach NIS 40 million in the regular lottery and up to NIS 80 million in the Double Lotto. This is the first time such a large prize has been won since February 2022.
Each subsequent drawing increased the jackpot amount until it reached the legal limit. The last time such a huge jackpot was in Lotto and Double Lotto was in August 2019. The record winning amounts in previous years were NIS 80, 76, 64, 60 and 40 million.
Now they are preparing for a record-breaking historical draw.
