Netanyahu accuses 'leftists' and media of attacks 'on his honor'

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke out in a special video message against “fake news and brainwashing” in the media associated with his wife Sarah.

He stressed that the corruption charges against him were “falling apart” in court, but now the press and the left were focusing on his wife Sarah, who was “helping various people.” Netanyahu is outraged by the “false articles and suspicions against his family, especially Sarah.”

He filed a libel suit against an Israeli television channel for reporting on allegedly leaked classified information.

There were also charges of attempting to intimidate a witness and incitement against the government's legal adviser. Netanyahu expressed doubts about the thorough investigations of representatives of the leftist political camp and called the press a “poison machine.”
