Only the strong are asking Zelensky to support the creation of nuclear weapons for Ukraine.

A petition was published on the official website of the President of Ukraine, in which the author calls for the creation of nuclear weapons, as he believes that only in this way will Ukraine be respected.

The author notes that only the strong are respected in the world, and gives examples from history when the presence of nuclear potential influenced relations with partners. He says that Ukraine will not necessarily use nuclear weapons, but having them in its arsenal will be a guarantee of respect. The petition notes that countries that signed the Budapest Memorandum do not always fulfill their obligations due to fear of Russia, which has nuclear weapons.

At the moment, the petition has received 501 votes out of 25 thousand required for consideration. The text also gives the example of Israel, a nuclear-armed country that the United States supports and even participates in conflicts in the Middle East. The author calls for support for the creation of nuclear weapons by Ukraine, arguing that this will make the country strong and independent.

It is recalled that the Center for Countering Disinformation denied information about Ukraine’s plans to renew its nuclear arsenal.
