October 13, 2024 The Israel Defense Forces said that over the past 24 hours, the country's air force carried out attacks on approximately 200 Hezbollah targets in Lebanon. The IDF especially attacked terrorist sites, rocket launchers, command posts and militant positions, The Times of Israel reports.

During the night, the 36th Division carried out air force strikes against terrorist rocket launchers, anti-tank positions and weapons depots in southern Lebanon. It is also reported that dozens of militants have been killed.

Israel is seeking to clear southern Lebanon of militants and Hezbollah members to restore calm in the north of the country and return residents to settlement. Tel Aviv has also moved thousands of additional troops across the border in the north, signaling preparations for an expanded ground operation against Hezbollah in the country's southwest.
