Peace between Israel and Gaza could help strengthen relations with Saudi Arabia

Information has emerged about a breakthrough in negotiations to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia. Presumably, this dynamic is related to progress in truce negotiations in the Gaza Strip.

According to Saudi sources, a formal announcement of normalization of relations will most likely be made after Donald Trump officially takes office as US President.

Riyadh authorities expect several steps from Jerusalem, including signing an agreement to limit fire in Gaza, ensuring the process of implementing the principle of “two states for two peoples” and taking “constructive measures” regarding the Syrian situation and the new authorities in this country.
