The head of the IDF General Staff considers it necessary to expand the operation in Lebanon.

The Chief of the General Staff of the Israel Defense Forces, Herzi Halevi, stated the need to develop plans to deepen and expand the ground operation in Lebanon after rocket attacks on central Israel from Lebanon.

He stressed that these plans will be activated as needed. The IDF continues to conduct attacks against Hezbollah targets in various regions, including Lebanon, Syria and Beirut.

After a rocket attack in the Upper Galilee, the body of a man was discovered, killed by a Hezbollah rocket. This man turned out to be a foreign worker. In one day alone, Hezbollah fired more than 150 rockets at Israel, of which 25 reached the Western Galilee and the Haifa Bay area.

The situation in the region remains tense, and Israel is ready to deepen military operations if necessary.
